Silvio Vettorello was born in Santa Margherita Ligure, and his interest in the hospitality world led him to study at the hotel management school in Camogli.
 
Mr. Vettorello took his first steps in luxury hotel management in 2005, starting his professional career with the Belmond Group (formerly Orient Express) at the Splendido Hotel and Splendido Mare in Portofino, working in the Front Office and Concierge departments. He then moved to the Rocco Forte Hotel Savoy in Florence, where he worked as Front Office and Concierge Manager. Later, he began working on the pre-opening and opening of the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence as Front Office and Guest Relations Manager. After his experience in Florence, he moved to the Four Seasons Hotel Des Bergues in Geneva, where he worked with royal families from all over the world and heads of state. In 2011, Mr. Vettorello returned to Italy to take on a new challenge—the pre-opening and opening of the Armani Hotel Milan as Lifestyle Manager, where he personally handled celebrities, heads of state, and royal delegations.
 
Since 2013, he has been part of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo family, initially starting his career as Lifestyle Manager and Operations Manager, and later taking on the role of General Manager. With the opening of Passalacqua, Mr. Vettorello became the supervisor of both properties. Since 2017, he has also overseen Villa Sola Cabiati, managed by the same company as a private villa, just a few steps from the Grand Hotel.
