Pierre-Yves Roussel is Chief Executive Officer of Tory Burch.
 
Since 2019, he has led the brand’s accelerated global expansion, enhanced infrastructure, and reinforced Tory Burch’s position as a leading American fashion designer. As an executive, Mr. Roussel brings a unique mindset of creativity and operational excellence to the brand, driving efficiency and growth while complementing Ms. Burch’s evolving design vision.
 
Prior to joining Tory Burch, Mr. Roussel was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of LVMH Fashion Group for 15 years. He reinvigorated several of the conglomerate’s luxury houses, often by installing young, innovative designers at the helm. From Jonathan Anderson at Loewe to Phoebe Philo at Céline, he is regarded for his ability to identify talent and take risks that yield outsize results.
 
He has been a jury member for the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers, ANDAM Fashion Awards, and CFDA Fashion Incubator. In 2021, he forged a partnership between Tory Burch and the Parsons School of Design, including the establishment of a $1M scholarship fund.
 
Before his time at LVMH, Mr. Roussel was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company. He serves on several boards, including the Jay H. Baker Retailing Center at the Wharton School and Lectra, the global fashion industry’s leading technology provider.
 
He holds a master of business administration from the Wharton School, a post-graduate degree from Brussels University, and a bachelor of science in economics from École Supérieure de Commerce in Paris.
