Known for his sophisticated take on redefining how to dress the modern gentleman, Todd Snyder has grown his namesake label into a luxury brand with sales over $125M annually and 20 stores nationwide.
His collections draw from Savile Row tailoring, vintage military apparel, and classic American workwear, making timeless pieces relevant for the well-dressed man. Based in New York, Mr. Snyder meticulously sources elegant materials from around the world, creating designs that are both smart and refined.
Originally from Iowa, his fashion journey began with roles at Ralph Lauren and Gap, eventually leading the men’s design team at J.Crew during its golden era. In 2011 he launched his own brand, quickly earning acclaim. GQ dubbed him “The Man Who Taught Men to Love Clothes” and praised his New York flagship as the “Menswear Temple We’ve Been Waiting For.” Mr. Snyder has been nominated four times for CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year and was a 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalist.
In 2023 he was appointed Creative Director for Woolrich, designing their upscale Black Label Collection set to debut in fall 2024. His ability to blend quality, taste, and individuality has made him a sought-after collaborator with heritage brands like L.L. Bean, FootJoy, and Timex.
In January 2024 Mr. Snyder made a grand return to the runway in Italy at Pitti Uomo as the awarded Designer Showcase. The New York Times and GQ lauded him as “the righteous inheritor of Ralph Lauren’s mantle” and “arguably the most important American designer in Europe this season.”
