Caroline Brown serves as Global Brand President of The North Face and as a member of the VF global leadership team. In her role, Ms. Brown leads the vision, strategy, brand, and business execution of The North Face brand and is responsible for product innovation across merchandising, design, product development, brand creative, marketing, and consumer engagement, to enable compelling physical and digital consumer journeys in markets around the globe. An experienced global leader in the fashion, lifestyle, and outdoor sectors, she has led teams and companies operating across the United States, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and United Kingdom regions.
Prior to joining VF Corporation, Ms. Brown spent over three decades in the fashion industry. She was Chief Executive Officer of Donna Karan International and DKNY, President of Carolina Herrera, and U.S. Chief Executive Officer of Akris. She began her career at Giorgio Armani, where she spent over a decade in leadership roles within marketing and communications.
Ms. Brown has served on numerous boards of innovative companies, including VF Corporation and Eileen Fisher. She was also a member of the advisory board for the MIT Sloan School Sustainability Initiative and an advisor to the Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship at MIT Sloan School of Management.
She is passionate about mentoring new talent in the fashion sector and acted as an advisor to the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund and H&M Global Change Awards, supporting the development of innovation and future talent for the industry.
