Sarah Burton is Creative Director at French luxury fashion house Givenchy.
 
Ms. Burton started her design career at Alexander McQueen in 1996 and became Head of Design four years later under Lee Alexander McQueen. She was appointed Creative Director in 2010, and during her 13-year tenure in that role, she produced women’s and men’s collections to great critical acclaim, as well as establishing an extensive education program supporting young creatives.
 
In 2011, Ms. Burton was announced as the designer of HRH the Princess of Wales’ dress for her wedding to HRH the Prince of Wales, and in 2012, she was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to the British fashion industry. She was awarded the 2023 Special Recognition Award at The Fashion Awards, honoring her outstanding contribution to the fashion industry. 
 
Ms. Burton studied fashion at Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design in London.
