Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo is President of the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team.
 
An entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and advisor, Mr. Passi began his career in public relations in Milan at Giorgio Armani, where he worked for eight years alongside Roberta Armani in the global public relations and entertainment office, managing the brand’s collaborations with international celebrities and VIPs. He then joined Moncler—where he still serves as an advisor—taking on the role of Director of Events and Entertainment.
 
In 2011, Mr. Passi founded FIOL, a multi-award-winning DOC Prosecco label that, from his hometown of Treviso, has become a benchmark brand, particularly in the United Kingdom and Canada.
 
He entered the world of venture capital in 2015, investing in tech companies and innovative startups across various sectors. In 2022, Mr. Passi launched the fund Festina Lente Partners SCSp, managed by the Azimut Group, focused on private companies in fintech, food tech, marketplaces, digital transformation, and smart environment. His portfolio includes startups and unicorns, such as Bilt Rewards, SKIMS, Oura Ring, OLIPOP, FINESSE Studio, and Mill Industries.
 
Mr. Passi's involvement in SailGP stems from a lifelong passion for sports and high-level competition. He was introduced to sailing through his father, Alberto Passi de Preposulo, a former sailor with experience in Atlantic and Mediterranean regattas.
 
In 2025, together with venture capitalist and entrepreneur Assia Grazioli-Venier and world-renowned Australian sailor Jimmy Spithill, he became Co-Owner of the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team.
