Alex Shashou is Co-founder and Co-Chief Executive Officer of 10Beauty, creator of the world’s first full-service, salon-quality robotic manicure. At 10Beauty, he leads a 50-person, world-class engineering team at the intersection of robotics, hardware, and design, and oversees brand, marketing, customer, and people operations.
 
Originally from London, Mr. Shashou graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York. In 2013, he and Justin Effron co-founded ALICE, a B2B hotel operations platform that scaled to 4,000 hotels in more than 60 countries before its acquisition by Expedia Group.
 
Following ALICE, Mr. Shashou and Mr. Effron founded 10Beauty, which has raised $52M from leading investors, including Shine Capital, Lerer Hippeau, and Imaginary Ventures, as well as celebrity backers like Victoria Beckham, Sara and Erin Foster, and Karlie Kloss. Based in Boston, 10Beauty is launching with partners across retail, fitness, hotel, and salon channels, including Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom.
