With nearly two decades of experience across three continents, Alexandra Papazian is an energetic beauty industry leader known for building and revitalizing global brands. Ms. Papazian was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Function of Beauty, the world leader in customizable hair, skin, and body care products, in September 2021. In her role, she is responsible for accelerating the brand's global growth, driving product innovation, expanding into new channels and markets, and continuing to build on the brand's industry-leading customized manufacturing capabilities.

Ms. Papazian has served in numerous leadership roles in the beauty industry, including building and growing top-tier global beauty brands like Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Ralph Lauren for L'Oreal. Most recently, she served as Global President for Laura Mercier Cosmetics, where she was responsible for re-launching the iconic brand following its acquisition by the Shiseido Company. During her tenure at Laura Mercier, Ms. Papazian led the company's global expansion in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, while transforming the company's digital and social media presence, redesigning the customer and point of sale experience, and spearheading the creative reinvention of the brand as aspirational, feminine, and modern. She began her career in Paris, where she worked directly with Mr. Giorgio Armani, shaping her eye for design and beauty.

Ms. Papazian is celebrated as a passionate and innovative leader who believes in dreaming big. She enjoys serving as a mentor within and outside of the beauty industry to help anyone she works with realize their full potential. She loves design and modern art, as well as spending time surrounded by the lush nature of Upstate New York.
