Alex Perez-Tenessa founded Trendio, a beauty-focused shopping entertainment platform, in 2021 after serving as Vice President of U.S. Prime Video for Amazon. In that role, Mr. Perez-Tenessa introduced the direct-to-home premium VOD business, reinvented the Channels business, and developed innovative technologies to maximize the appeal and success of Prime Video's top content bets. Prior to joining Amazon in 2017, he led the $5B Beauty and Personal Care business at CVS Health. Many of the changes implemented at the time subsequently became industry standards. Earlier in his career, he worked for McKinsey, where he worked his way up to Partner before his departure in 2013.

Mr. Perez-Tenessa earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2002. He was born in Mexico and raised in Spain.
