Emily Arkells was appointed Vice President of Global Digital Brand Experience at Maybelline New York, the #1 makeup brand in the world, in June 2022. Ms. Arkells joined L’Oréal over seven years ago, initially working at L’Oréal Paris Haircare in the United States, leading and driving growth of its premium haircare line. Most recently, she led Digital for Maybelline in Asian markets, first in Japan and then in China. In that role, she contributed to the digital transformation of the brand and developed a unique expertise of the digital ecosystem in China, elevating the brand image and relevance across digital-first initiatives in the region.

Ms. Arkells previously held positions at Sun Products Corporation and Coty.
