Andrea Campani, born in Montevarchi, developed a strong connection with Tuscan cuisine from a young age, appreciating the importance of quality and seasonality of ingredients. After graduating from the hospitality school in Florence, he began his career in a restaurant in the Chianti region, where he refined his knowledge of regional culinary traditions. Thanks to his passion, curiosity, and determination, he has been able to creatively and innovatively reinterpret Tuscan cuisine.
Mr. Campani’s encounter with Ferruccio Ferragamo in 2013 led him to embrace the Il Borro project, where he became Executive Chef. Today, he oversees the estate's restaurants, including the Osteria del Borro, and continues to develop authentic Tuscan cuisine with a contemporary twist.
In 2014, he took on responsibility for the development of the Il Borro Tuscan Bistro concept, present in Florence, Dubai, and on the island of Crete, where he successfully expresses Il Borro’s culinary vision.
