Mr. Alvarez is General Partner and Founder of Hiro Capital, a leading venture capital fund investing in video games and metaverse technologies with c. $600m assets under management. He is also Chairman and Co-founder of SKNUPS, a curated technology platform and partner dedicated to amplifying fashion brands in the metaverse.
Previously, Mr. Alvarez was Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Inspired Entertainment Inc., a Nasdaq listed games technology leader, and was an early team member at boo.com, a streetwear e-commerce innovator. He is passionate about fashion, art, and video games and their interaction with the future of technology.
Mr. Alvarez earned a First Class in philosophy at Cambridge and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
