Prior to DRESSX, Daria Shapovalova established Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days and More Dash. Called ‘Kiev Fashion’s Queen Bee’ by Vogue UK, she is known for putting Ukraine on the world’s fashion map. Ms. Shapavalova has been featured on Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe.
Under her creative guidance, Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days quickly became the largest fashion event in the region. Ms. Shapovalova later crossed into the education and technology industries, establishing the Kiev Fashion Institute and Fashion Tech Summit. There, she spearheaded discussions focused on bridging fashion with technology.
As the next spin in her career, she moved to San Francisco, got an M.B.A. and started a company in the United States that became DRESSX.
