Deirdre Quinn is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lafayette 148 New York, a luxury fashion house founded in New York City in 1996 in partnership with industry visionaries Shen Yen Siu and Ida Siu. A natural entrepreneur with an early appreciation for craftsmanship, Ms. Quinn began her career in fashion overseeing production and manufacturing at leading companies, including Liz Claiborne, Donna Karan, and Escada, where she developed a deep understanding of materials, construction, and quality.
 
Originally founded at 148 Lafayette Street in SoHo—where the brand takes its name—Lafayette 148 now operates from its headquarters in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, alongside its atelier and manufacturing facility in Shantou, China, reflecting one of the industry’s rare vertically integrated models.
 
Beyond her role at the company, Ms. Quinn serves on the board of trustees of the Fashion Institute of Technology, dedicating her philanthropic efforts to advancing education and fostering a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship and learning.
