Speaker Bio

Asmita Dubey is Chief Digital and Marketing Officer for the L’Oreal Group, the world leader in beauty with a purpose to create the beauty that moves the world. She is steering the group to lead marketing in the digital age by staying firmly grounded in Web2.0 deployment — data driven and ROI-based marketing on one hand and cracking the new codes of beauty on the other — and by exploring emerging technologies such as AR, VR, and AI. Ms. Dubey believes the future of beauty will be physical, digital, and virtual, and beauty consumer journeys will continue evolving from O+O (offline+online) to O+O+O (offline+online+on-chain). Her interest is to help build brands responsibly, by continuously reinventing beauty experiences.

Ms. Dubey is an Indian national, with a background in economics and statistics. She began her career in the advertising industry, working in both India and China on campaigns for some of the world’s biggest FMCG brands. She joined L’Oréal in 2013 as Chief Marketing Officer for L’Oréal China, where she was responsible for laying the foundation for the e-commerce acceleration in China, including building the group’s first joint-business partnerships with Alibaba and Tencent.

Ms. Dubey also serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of directors for Haleon, the world’s largest consumer healthcare company.
