Tarang Amin has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of E.l.f. Beauty since 2014. A dynamic, passionate, and purpose-driven leader, he has been leading innovation and unleashing the superpowers of high performance teams to drive growth for world-class consumer brands for over 30 years. 
 
After taking the company public (NYSE:ELF) in 2016 in one of the most successful beauty IPOs, Mr. Amin has grown the business over 5x, strategically expanding into a multi-brand portfolio that includes E.l.f. Cosmetics, E.l.f. Skin, Well People, and Keys Soulcare, and setting records on new digital platforms. His commitment to building teams that mirror the consumers they serve is reflected not only in E.l.f. Beauty’s employee base, but also in its board of directors. E.l.f. Beauty is one of only four public companies, out of nearly 4,200 in the United States, with a board of at least two-thirds women and at least one-third diverse.
 
Previously Mr. Amin served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Schiff Nutrition, building enterprise value from $190M to $1.5B, and Vice President and General Manager of The Clorox Company’s $1.7B Litter, Food, and Charcoal businesses. He began his career in brand management at Procter & Gamble.
 
He earned both his bachelor’s degree in international policy and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
