With a background in industrial engineering, Mr. Acosta has three decades of expertise in the beauty and personal care category. He is a true believer in purposeful companies and has a proven track record in nurturing iconic, trusted brands. Always eager to listen and open to learn, he has held roles including Global Brand President of Dove; Skin Cleansing and Care President of Unilever Asia, Africa, and Middle East; General Manager of Unilever Andean and Central America; and President of Avon Latin America. During his 19-year tenure at Unilever overseeing multi-billion-dollar businesses, Mr. Acosta was part of the leadership team that launched the breakthrough Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, known worldwide for broadening the definition of beauty.
