Musab Balbale is Senior Vice President and Chief Merchant at CVS Health, where he is responsible for merchandising, the retail digital experience, and store formats for the CVS front store. He has over 20 years of consumer and retail experience and joined CVS in 2022. 
 
Most recently, Mr. Balbale was Merchandising Vice President of Beauty at Walmart. In that role, he led the transformation of Walmart’s omni-beauty business across stores and e-commerce and led the team to create innovative, new beauty experiences and increased industry awareness and consumer perception of Walmart Beauty. Prior to that role, he led Walmart’s health, beauty, and pharmacy business for Walmart e-commerce. He joined Walmart through its acquisition of Jet.com in 2016, where he was General Manager of Jet’s pet business. 
 
Earlier, Mr. Balbale was Vice President of Business Development and International for The Vitamin Shoppe. In that capacity, he led the expansion of Vitamin Shoppe into international markets, including Canada and Central and Latin America. His earlier career includes strategy at The Boston Consulting Group and Charles Schwab and in private equity at Summit Partners, where he focused on the consumer and retail sectors.
 
Mr. Balbale holds a bachelor of arts from Yale University and a master of business administration from Harvard Business School.
