Jenna Lyons is a creative entrepreneur and media personality. While President and Executive Creative Director of J.Crew Group, Ms. Lyons was widely recognized as the creative force behind the American retail chain’s phenomenal rise from floundering catalogue to one of the most coveted fashion brands in the United States. Appointed Creative Director in 2008, then President in 2010, she oversaw the brand’s successful image overhaul in its stores, photography, brand collaborations, and clothing designs. J.Crew reported revenues of over $2.2B in 2013.
 
Ms. Lyons joined J.Crew’s design team as a Junior Designer in 1990. After a steady ascension to Vice President of Women’s Design, she, under the direction of Chief Executive Officer Mickey Drexler, began seeking a new design direction for the struggling brand, bringing in new styles and focusing on collaborations. After 27 years with the specialty retailer, she stepped down in 2017.
 
A style icon in her own right, Ms. Lyons is regularly featured in publications such as Vanity Fair, Glamour, and The New York Times, and she has graced magazine covers, including Fast Company, Madame Figaro, and Domino. In 2013, she was featured in Time’s list of 100 Most Influential People and dubbed as “The Woman Who Dresses America” by The New York Times
 
A creative agent at large, Ms. Lyons is Partner at brand valuation company FundamentalCo, a coveted interior designer, a consultant for The Expert, and cast member of BRAVO’s The Real Housewives of New York City.
 
She holds a bachelor of fine arts from Parsons New School of Design.
