Jill Standish leads Accenture’s global retail practice and guides its growth by managing the client portfolio and developing offerings and capabilities that help retailers transform their businesses into responsible, resilient, and sustainable enterprises. With over 20 years’ experience in retail sales, marketing, and consulting leadership, Ms. Standish is on the frontline of change. A key focus right now is rebuilding retail by helping retailers acquire the capabilities they need to thrive in a post-pandemic world. This includes strengthening sustainability practices to create a better future for retailers and the communities that they serve. She is also a strong advocate for inclusion and diversity, which she believes is a business imperative and the cornerstone of innovation.
 
In addition to leading digital and physical store transformation projects for global retail clients, she has led the retail businesses of two technology giants — Oracle and IBM. Ms. Standish was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Oracle’s Retail Business Unit; Vice President and Global Leader for IBM’s Global Business Services retail consulting practice; and Vice President of IBM’s Retail Store Solutions.
 
Ms. Standish serves as a board member and is active in a number of industry bodies, including the Retail Industry Leaders Association. She has won a number of retail and consulting industry accolades, such as being named a Top 25 Consultant by Consulting magazine. She is a regular industry and keynote speaker and has been quoted in The New York Times, Bloomberg, and WWD.
 
Ms. Standish holds a bachelor’s degree of business administration in marketing from the University of Massachusetts.
