Michael Kliger was appointed Mytheresa’s Chief Executive Officer in 2015, where he has been the driving force behind the company's continued global growth. He has also been a member of Mytheresa’s management board since 2020.
 
Under his leadership, Mytheresa has transformed into one of the world's leading e-commerce platforms for luxury goods and completed its listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in January 2021. As a visionary leader, Mr. Kliger has played a pivotal role assembling and empowering a highly effective leadership team that drives Mytheresa's story of success.
 
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Kliger served as Vice President of International at eBay Enterprise, overseeing all commercial and marketing operations in Europe and APAC. His impressive career also includes managing director and executive positions at renowned companies, such as Accenture, First Capital Partners, and Real Holding. He is a former Principal of McKinsey & Company, where he headed their German retail practice. In addition, Mr. Kliger serves as a board member of Valora AG.
